Their support suck. they never help when problem is complicated. they suspended my account without warning and had to pay $75 to allow me access my files and copy them before they remove them.

Godaddy Webhosting sucks... Speed is crap, support is crap, you are made to believe you have made the best choice, and after a short while you find out that you have to pay again, and more, to use a small feature you really need... And could be offered in that price. I've bought about 5-6 domains and same number of hosting packages, because it was pretty easy, but I couldn't do nothing with them..
HORRRRIBLEE, F***NG HOSTINGG.... Goddady sucks... I'm looking forward to seeing how hosting24 is... i should have my first account set up by tommorow afternoon...

Godaddy's virtual dedicated server and dedicated server were supposed to offer more flexibility but locks the users to using their own smtp relays which have a limit of 1000 daily messages. The limit can be raised by opening a trouble ticket and answering a couple of questions. So it lies totally in the hands of godaddy support if they approve it or not. They do not allow the use of external smtp servers, not even on their dedicated servers.
Even some other hosting service providers have hourly limits of about 500 messages on their shared hosting which makes much higher daily limit than godaddy offers.

I am not a GoDaddy customer. I signed up with GoDaddy with the intention of moving two of my domain names from Register.com to GoDaddy. According to their website, GoDaddy makes this process very easy. However, before making the move, I checked out various posts on the internet about GoDaddy. I came across the FamilyAlbum.com fiasco. Although I did find another post that says GoDaddy no longer "steals" your domain name because of invalid/outdated WHOIS information, I am now concerned about making my moves. I have never had a problem with Register.com. I intentionally let a domain name expire last year, and Register.com was an absolute pest in their efforts to verify that I really wanted to give up the domain. There is no doubt in my mind that Register.com would not do to me what GoDaddy did to FamilyAlbum.com. Therefore I will not move my domains at this time. I will register a new, unimportant, domain with GoDaddy in the near future to "test" their service.

GoDaddy's web hosting is pathetic. Their customer support is horrible, as their tech support knows nothing and does not help whatsoever. Their Virtual Dedicated Servers are okay; however, we did not receive adequate support from them when needed. The ColdFusion package negates a bunch of prominent CF tags.

I've had my site on GoDaddy for about five years. I have never had any real problems, but I do get annoyed at the constant efforts to upsell you any to market more services than you need. I would not say the support is horrible. When you are new and learning how to use the system, some of the reps are a bit snotty and impatient, but this has tended to get better over the time I've been with them. Maybe people have complained and they've addressed it. I did buy products that were a waste of money like the traffic builder and website tonight (both useless!). I am ready to try someone new.

I'm really despaired with the service of godadday.com
They don't have fully configured server with useful extensions. Even don't look to add those extension in the shared hosting. The support is horrible as it's clumsy and misinterprets the problem even blaming the customer for that reason. Really wrong decision to take service from them.

tried a premium hosting package instead of renewing with a previos host, regretted it quickly. i find the hosting hard to use / very confusing. everything seems to be aimed at getting you to buy more products and i cant get any of my sites to load up correctly wheras i can without problems with other hosts. ive gone back to my original host and now have a heap of wasted space/money sitting there with godaddy.

Sales misrepresents their products. Unlimited hosting is not what the sales dept. says it is! You can only get an SSL certificate for the primary domain It took weeks and multiple calls to establish this.
The support is horrible.
No one ever seems to know anything.
Do your homework before hosting here
